North Devon District Hospital

Had my gallbladder removed by Mr David Bunting and team during day surgery. They are all working so hard during this terrible time. I felt reassured about my procedure and very well looked after. We are very lucky to have NDDH.

I've had 2 appointments now at the gynaecology outpatients, my first in January on Ladywell for a explority ultrasound scan with Dawn Goffey & team for some blood spotting I had just before Xmas, & was then made a further appt for a hysteroscopy on petter day treatment, with Mr Osama Eskandar & his lovely team, which I had today (19/2/21), my problem was soon identified as being a polyp & was removed their & then. I even got to watch the procedure on the screen at my request. I don't usually write reviews that often, but I felt if I wrote about my experience, it may encourage other woman who maybe feeling scared & uncertain like I was feeling, to go for that important check. Both times I went to my appointment feeling anxious & worried, but I was well taken care of by both specialist's & Thier wonderful teams. Everything was explained clearly, any questions I had during procedure was answered & most of all they made sure I was in no way in any discomfort. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me!. ️ .

I had to stay for two nights in September and the staff were professional, reassuring and attentive. Everyone seemed to be so busy all of the time but still managed to be happy and friendly. Even though I would have preferred to have not been in hospital, it has to rank as one of my best hospital experiences.

I RETURNED TO A&E YESTERDAY, WITH THE RETURN OF SEPSIS, THAT FIRST STRUCK 2 MONTHS AGO. WONDERFUL, UNDERSTANDING, SUPER STAFF, YOU ARE ALL SOOO LOVELY. I THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. KEEP UP, THE GREAT JOB. ROSEMARY HEATHER.XXX
