Whether it’s summer or winter Duchesnay Falls is a nice place to visit in North Bay. You can hike and enjoy the view of falls and bush. During summer it’s lavish green and in winter snow white. However, if one plans to visit during winter, please make sure you have proper clothing and winter gears. And be cautious about slippery slopes and where you step.

About a 10 min walk from the parking lot. But be prepared to climb up a steep hill to get to the top. Many place to see the falls, just keep walking. Wear good shoes with grip.

Easy easy walk and only takes a couple of minutes to reach the falls from the parking lot. Keep going up the trail for a nicer walk.

Beautiful trail along with the river. Even though the trail is beautiful but it might be a little hard path for young kids.

Went here is winter, and it’s beautiful. Clearly a popular spot for casual hikers and dog walkers. The frozen falls were gorgeous. It’s a bit close to the road, so you don’t ever really feel like you’re “away from it all”, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
