This has been one of my favorites for years. I love to see a family-owned operation take care of their customers by name. The seafood is of the highest quality and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong visiting their establishment. Ms Pat Fayetteville
I had Cod and bay shrimps with baked beans and collated greens. All of it was delicious.
Best of the fast food seafood places. The fish rivals that of any fish restaurant, even calabash. It's every bit as good. The manager's special is a bit skimpy on the pups and fries. But good fish for 2 under 12 dollars is a deal. The dining room is open. Lots of take out. Be prepared to be patient. Take out is slow. Everything is cooked to order. Nothing lies under a heat lamp in grease, though.
First time visitor, ordered the Cod, fries and hush puppies 7.99. You get a FEW oily fries, two puppies (which were very flavorful), two VERY oily pieces of cod. The fish was good, it would've been great if drained on a paper towel. I give the food 3.5 Stars. Moving on to the restrooms...the one male and female toilets share a sink which is placed outside the toilets inbetween the doors leading into both rooms. I someone is at the sink..you guessed it - TRAFFIC JAM. If your DISABLED as I am, it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to take your wheelchair, Walker or any large apparatus necessary to aide in mobility into the restrooms. This is an ADA issue, thus resulting in a UNSATISFACTORY rating. There was a very storng odor in the bathroom. It smelled similar to a sewer/septic tank backup. Very unpleasant. Good thing..you don't smell it in the dining area.
