Great facility, great club. Track was a good surface to run on. Well ran open meetings. Play park and playing fields near by.

For those of you who are into your club athletics, this is a nice fast 8 lane track. The grass verge gives plenty of space to watch from and the track is pretty well sheltered, so you don't normally get particularly windy conditions. There is a small stand that offers shelter if the weather is poor, but this is very small so take an umbrella if it's raining. There is a free car park which is adequate for small events, but if it's a big meeting give yourself plenty of time to park as spaces will run out fast
I love the park but sadly its lacking a refreshment establishment which in my opinion would be welcomed by those who use the park ?
Best track out there, newly resurfaced and host to high level competitions!
Not the easiest location for public transport but for those with a vehicle there's a reasonably large car park. Take your own food and drink as there are no local amenities.
