Norfolk Seafood Company & Big Easy Oyster Bar

Excellent atmosphere. The food was fantastic. Well prepared and presented. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. My only complaint was the music. When the name of an establishment contains the words 'Big Easy' I would prefer the music to be jazz of some sort. The music wasn't terrible, it just didn't fit the ambiance.

To say the food was delicious would be an understatement! The restaurant's ambiance is peaceful and unhurried. I highly recommend this restaurant. P.S. Ian, the waiter, is nothing short of amazing.

She crab soup was delicious. However my crab cake was way too salty. We enjoyed the rest of our choices. Comfortable environment, all tables safely separated. Great service and loved the mini corn muffins.

Food was good. Little pricey but good. Service was great and non judgemental as I was nowhere near dressed for the occasion. I wanted local seafood and a steak. That's what I got. Seasoned perfectly . Loved it.

The upstairs atmosphere was romantic with table cloths and candles. We would've preferred more jazzy music akin to New Orleans vibe. The dishes we had could've used more flavor, perhaps more spices and herb, but other than that, the portion was good and the cocktails were delicious and strong with a good amount of sweetness.
