Good for kids
We had a great experience with Pedro and his friendly family on his farm and we were so lucky to see the baby cows. Very impressive. We also got the chance to taste the cheese which was very tasty :)

We booked horse riding for 2 hours and we loved it. The riding was 2.5 hours through the town and countryside. It was long , pleasant and calm and mostly on paved road. For beginners I would suggest to do a shorter walk but for us it was just perfect. I only wish we had some time riding on the grass. The guide was very friendly , accommodating and pleasant. They also have some animals on the farm , farm tours and I think carriage horse rides. Overall , highlight of the day and excellent experience in San Miguel. Also , the value of what you get is great.
We came here with a booking from the Fernas Boutique Hotel. This unique package was tailored for what we wanted. Horse back riding, a tour of the dairy farm, milk the cows, carriage ride into town, tasting of there own cheese! It was the \Wow\ factor. Everyone was so nice and friendly, I felt like family. Nuno are tour guide for the day delivered a very memorable day for myself and my daughter. Pedro you are very knowledgeable with your horses and cows, your family is so gracious and I can't thank you enough for our day
I booked a horsebackride for two hours. The people were really kind and told me a lot about the area. The ride was great, this part of the island is very beautiful, and the horse was very sweet. If you are in the neighbourhood I highly recommend to visit Quinta Pimentel!
Experiência única que recomendo a todas as pessoas que visitem São Miguel. Pessoas muito acolhedoras e simpáticas que nos mostram como é a vida de campo de muitos açorianos. Tivemos a oportunidade de entrar em contacto com muitos animais, desde cavalos, cabras, vacas, entre outros.. Podemos andar a cavalo e ainda comprovamos como o programa vacas felizes é completamente verdadeiro e que as vacas têm todas as condições a que têm direito. Para além da experiência ainda tivemos direito a um lanche maravilhoso de produtos Terra Nostra, marca com que a Quinta Pimentel trabalha. Vale a pena a visita.
À faire absolument pour les amoureux de la nature, des animaux et surtout famille avec enfants! Nous avons passé la matinée là bas avec nos 2 enfants de 1 an et 2 ans et demi Au programme : visite des chèvres, lapins.. Balade à cheval et traite des vaches (a la main) Ainsi qu’une degustation offerte surplombant la côte. Nous avons adoré la visite ainsi que l’accueil chaleureux et souriant, typiques des açoriens. Les animaux sont très bien traités, propres. Nous avons vu leur amour pour leur travail et leur bêtes.
