What a gem of a restaurant on my own doorstep! Nice decor, Really friendly staff, good wine list and most importantly amazing authentic Italian Food!! Tasty, simple dishes, fresh ingredients, proper pizzas and good pasta dishes. I cannot faulty this place. Extremely fortunate to live 5 minutes away. I will 100% become a regular here. Highly Recommended

Lots of good pizza places in Forest Hill/Honor Oak but this is our new favourite! Food was great, service was quick and friendly and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be going back.
EDIT 10/12/20: Since my original review, I have returned to Nonna Maria several times, trying different pizzas, their parmigiana and their desserts (brownie, torta della nonna (apple & cinnamon cake) and tiramisu). Absolutely everything I've tried has been outstanding, and the service and hospitality from the owners and team has been faultless. I wasn't sure SE23 needed another \pizza place\, but this authentic, family Italian restaurant is so much more and has fast become my number 1 go-to place for takeaway and eating out locally. Really superb sourdough pizza, beautiful little restaurant that's been fitted out to a very high standard and lovely friendly service from Italian co-owner Ester. Already planning my next visit - I've heard from another customer that their parmigiana is the best they've had in London and that the tiramisu is \to die for\ so I'm looking forward to trying other items on their menu, as well as more pizza! Lucky it's just around the corner from me!
Our favourite new pizza place! Every pizza we've tried has been delicious. The base is just right, great choice of toppings and fresh good quality ingredients. Can't wait to visit the restaurant post lockdown.
