Came in for a toastie and a coffee this morning on the way to work. Lovely place, with a great vibe. Toastie was actually really, really good. Something about it brought me back to eating warm toasted sandwiches on chilly mornings back home in the Highlands - I think it was the homemade style chutney. Great conversations with the staff on hand, and a lovely way to cheer myself up after missing my train to work by 10 seconds...!

I work as a support worker with adults with disabilities, and so always looking for things to do/places to go with service users. Today I was out with a wheelchair user, and we happened across cafe nomad in Haymarket. I've lived in Edinburgh and known Haymarket for many years, so was surprised I hadent noticed it before. So, after a wee discussions and seeing it wasn't that busy we went in. Everything was well spaced out with current regulations (and was great for the service user I was with, as he's a wheelchair user). Ordered some lovely coffee/hot choc from the friendly staff, and had a pleasant half our sitting in the cafe. We will probably be back on day!
One of my favourite places around Haymarket. Really accessible, clean and good coffee.
Only had a coffee but based on that, I think this place deserves good ratings. Wish I could taste all of the delicious looking food they had on show but not a morning eating type, so maybe next time. Good vibe to the place, friendly staff, would come again
