Being a student, would highly discourage you from taking loans from SBI even if the interest rates are one of the lowest. Looking at the long term benefits, Yes, it is financially better but if you think the hassel one has to go through then its not worth. My loan didn't get approved till the day I was flying out to my university because of their inefficiency. Please take a wise decision

One of the worst experience with government culturaled bank. Private banks are 1000 times better than SBI or any other government banks. I had very good experience with HDFC bank but it's my unfortune that I have switched my home loan to SBI. I have been continuously following since very long time on my amount deducted without my knowledge.I am totally frustrated this government culturaled bank. Everyone is non-responsive and unprofessional. This is biggest mistake to switch my home loan HDFC to SBI.

Branch is located at good place building is also good. Staff is committed. Branch is open on Sundays but close on Mondays and 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month.
