Best German food I’ve ever had. They do t speak English, but everything on the menu was spectacular!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were in Weimar the first week of opening up, after C-19, and walked over in the fine weather for dinner. It's a 45 minute walk, each way - very pleasant countryside. The asparagus in Weimar in Spring is delicious - it is thick and fresh and so tasty with the hollandaise sauce they prepared so well. We just had to order the potato pancakes with apple sauce. Then a steak with grilled onions and pepper sauce. And French Fries, of course!! Though they don't speak English, we managed just fine, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. My wife and I always share, so we we can try more dishes. This meal was 'just right' in size ... and excellent for the taste buds!
