This shop is understaffed with just one human on Saturdays, which I speculate is the busiest day of the week. While waiting the 15 minutes I could bear before packing it in, six other people also left as well. Thus, the labour saving is a false economy.

This has a superb selection of wines from producers you're unlikely to find on the supermarket shelves. You can also buy a smaller selection of beers and spirits here, though keeping with the less well known brands of spirits and beers. The staff are always helpful and can decipher my most unknowledgeable requests for a recommendation and bring out an amazing bottle of wine. There are wines at every price point, from about 15 through to 100 bottles.
Great selection of wine and a very knowledgable staff if you ask for help. Service can be hit or miss. Went in one week and a lovely young man helped me find a new favourite where last night it was like I didn't exist. The woman working was in a deep chat with her colleague and literally didn't even say anything to me as she slid the card payment machine over which felt insulting and left a really bad taste in mouth.
As a fan of natural wines I was actually excited about this place. Their selection is nice, but the whole experience was not great. The person working there either had a bad day or really hated my questions because he gave the distinct impression of he would rather do anything else but answer my questions about wine. What topped it all up for me was asking about low sulphite wine, as I actually get headaches due to the chemicals. His response was \sulphite wine doesnt give a headache\. Cool, right, another man explaining to a woman how her body reacts to things. I decided that's not a business I would give my money to.
Great selection but unfortunately the two useless guys in there were doing their best to not serve me. Was definitely getting the \try-hard to be cool\ vibe from them which is a shame, as the American woman with the specs is usually a delight. Their sarcy \bro\ comments really marred it for me and will steer clear in future.
