Wow! What a lovely treat, months without a good roast dinner and then this! Beef on the bone with all the trimmings. I was delighted. A great meal for 2 and enough left over beef to keep in sandwiches all week.

First time diners taking advantage of 10 pp off. Scallop starter cooked to perfection while duck scotch eggs were a revelation. Steaks were cooked to order perfectly while sea bass was light and crispy. Veg portions generous and could be shared between two while house salad could feed 4. Only criticism was a little too much red onion in the house salad but it's only a teeny one. Lemon posset was best we've ever tasted and chocolate trifle was amazing. Overall very tasty, friendly staff and will be returning.
