Came across this beautiful example of edwardian life by chance. Social distancing measures were in place and adhered to with clear instructions given at the entrance. Highly recommend.
Nicely done with a sensible route through the rooms which lends itself to Covid safety. Beautifully restored and furnished property with a pleasant shop through which to exit. An hour well-spent.
Staff friendly knowledgeable about the history of the house. Beautifully preserved house with good explanations of each room. Sanitisers throughout.
A snapshot of what it would have been like to live in a Georgian house with each room decorated like it would have been during the 1770s. I would likely have been diabetic and had gout if I’d been the man of the house! Highly knowledgeable staff help to explain the exhibits if you have any questions.
