Finally a counselor who has taken concern about me and what steps I have to take to make things right. Melisa goes up and beyond a 30 minute office visit and has taken time out of her personal life to speak with me when I needed a professional and a friend. I regret I don't see her as often but with her help my counseling days are over, Thank you.

Melissa Longley, as a two party counselor, is not only unprofessional in her demeanor, her approaches are also unethical and if you confront her (even respectfully) she becomes defensive, abusive, and tries to gaslight you. She also is not upfront about any possible conflicts of interest, and what you say is NOT safe with her. I would highly recommend seeing anyone other than her.

Melissa is the best therapist I have ever been to! If you want/need help, she is amazing. I love her “tell it like it is,” combined perfectly with compassion and treatment approach. I will never see anyone else. Melissa’s commitment to helping her patients goes above and beyond! She is literally saving my life. I am beyond thankful for her!

Completely unethical. My wife was a family physician in a group of 3 doctors. We were in need of a marriage counselor and so we went to this person. 3 months into meeting with her, I confronted her about knowing my wife. She acknowledged that she did and that all three doctors sent people to her. My guess is that the majority of her clients were from my wife’s office. I asked her if it was a conflict of interest, her being our counselor? She said absolutely not! I asked her why she didn’t say something before I confronted her about knowing my wife. She immediately began to go on the offensive and blame me for everything ( she was already blaming me for EVERYTHING) in our marriage. Even after I told her that I would never trust her, it didn’t change a thing. She even saw clients out of my wife’s office to maintain her indiana license! Still not a conflict? Save some money and just go to your wifes bff as a “ counselor “. She would be far more neutral and cheaper I’m sure, than Melisa. My wife should have asked her if she could recommend someone for us, and Melisa should have said she couldn’t be our counselor but could recommend someone.

Feel very fortunate to have been sent to Melissa for counseling. She definitely helped me work through some things that I was struggling letting go of.
