It's unusual to find a seafood restaurant this far from the coast. Hooked makes a nice change from the traditional meat and veg places you tend to find in this region. The restaurant is decorated in a modern but cozy style. The menu offers a range of affordable fish dishes, unfortunately of varying quality. The 'kibbeling' starter (battered and fried fish nuggets) is excellent, the sushi was awful because the rice was chalky, too compact and without the subtle sweet rice vinegar and sake flavor you expect.

The food was a little hit and miss. The quality of the tuna was substandard and the waiting staff was pretty bad (spilled sauces on us twice and managed to bring us something with tomato despite being told one of our party had a tomato allergy). The restaurant looks great, but i feel it failed to deliver.
Vanavond met mijn man hier wederom heerlijk gegeten!!! Verrassende combinaties, subliem klaar gemaakt, super verse vis!! We zaten er helemaal alleen...Waarom? Waar zijn al die visliefhebbers? Of vleesliefhebbers, want dat serveren ze hier ook gewoon! Dit restaurant verdient het om elke avond vol te zitten op basis van het heerlijke eten, fijne bediening en zelfs de goede achtergrondmuziek.

Heerlijk gegeten! Was voor ons de eerste keer naar een visrestaurant ipv regulier vlees! Wat een aanrader! Hier gaan wij zeker vaker naar toe!
