Our dedicated team of entrepreneurs and specialists has come up with an innovative treatment for healing chronic wounds: the cold plasma pad. This is an electronic pad that helps wounds heal faster and better, while costing less than current treatments. We are working hard to develop this new product by sharing our inspiration and knowledge. The goal is to treat at least 200 patients in diverse clinics. A clinical trial with the prototype is currently underway at the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, headed up by Dr Edgar Peters and Dr Louise Sabelis. This pilot is being funded by the Dutch Diabetes Research Foundation. The prototype will be further developed into a product with the CE mark. The business case and sales strategy are being worked out in greater detail, after which a more extensive clinical trial will be executed in various wound care clinics throughout the Netherlands.
