Came here because it was mentioned by Michelin. The restaurant has a comfortable, clean decor and service was very good. Ordered eel and sushi. The eel over rice and eel sushi tasted reasonably good and of good quality, though not outstanding. I think the grilling was too light to get the full flavor out. The raw fish sushi, on the other hand was so so, sushi rice was too dry and hard, lacked that vinegar taste and the raw fish lacked that natural sweetness.

The food was really really good and the service excellent...until I found a small fly in the sashimi. Not their fault. It happens. But, I wasn’t going to eat raw fish that’s had a fly hopping around in it. They replaced the dish, as they should, and the staff held it in. But, I had to hear the chef grumble and bang around a bit. Could it have been handled with more grace? Yes, it could’ve. Still, I’m giving it four stars because it is a lovely place and I imagine in happier times, the people more even tempered. Or maybe a hot-headed chef is part of the experience \u200d️

extremely fresh food and delicate display! One of the best Japanese restaurants I have visited in Taipei

Food is awesome and has good portion. The waitress is kinda overwhelmed so there is longer wait time between each dish.

Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a Taiwanese. It is very generous with its portion, with the unagi filling up the whole square rice box, hiding the rice below. It also comes with a few different spices, namely yuzu, and some stronger spice. The waitress will tell you to try the original taste, before moving to the yuzu and stronger tasting spice. The unagi, despite being grilled, does not really have the charred taste and feel and might not be something that people familiar other unagi don in Japan might like. This restaurant does not come with an English menu
