Niddry Castle Golf Club

Staff helped us out and offered us a tee time when we got let down by another course. Very helpful. We really enjoyed our round. Some easy holes and some tricky ones too. The members behind us were very friendly and didn't rush us as we were a mixed ability 3. We did however cross a couple of other players on the course who were quite rude and impatient. It was near the end. That was the only bad point of a very enjoyable round.

Weren’t given any prior notice to the fact the course was getting maintenance. Greens were in horrible condition. Most holes having a hole in the middle of the fairway with no ability to putt causing some par 3s to be only 50 yards long. Much better courses in terms of value for money around the Lothian’s area.

Had a lovely afternoon tea, cakes and scones were delicious and all homemade.

Very bizarre layout for the front 6-8 holes. The turn until the 18th very nice. Had horrible fog and rain so couldn't take in the view's. Would recommend for somewhere different to play.
