Oh my gosh, my favorite taco place in MPLS/SP. Excellent margaritas & food. Service was always top notch when I went to visit. Patio is great in the warmer months, but inside is super cozy too for when it gets cold. The whole place has a great aesthetic. It's one of the spots I miss most in MN!

Wide variety of superb street tacos. From seafood to cow tongue, the selection could provide something for everyone. The service was nothing short of perfect. My favorite taco, the Chipotle Cameron, was recommended to me by the waitress. She answered all my questions with ease and made the ordering process simple. The atmosphere was cozy, taking place in a small house and all of my tacos had a unique and exquisite taste. I’m definitely eager to return and try more.

This rating is for food and drinks. I prefer Nico’s tacos for the drinks and not the food. The food is good but not as authentic. My personal opinion is that the food is Mexican American fusion. The salsas however are superb - very spicy and flavorful. The tres Leches is also very moist, authentic. The tacos are alright, the tortillas appear to not be hand made and the meat is not Mexican (processed different than US) so I understand this prevents them tasting fully authentic. Also I don’t know if the chiefs are Mexican or American or what recipes they fallow. Mexican food varies regionally so I am biased due to this. The drinks are always delicious, great Palomas - not too sweet. I really appreciate the tequila bible - it helps me pick tequila from my home state and also try from other states. However for authentic Mexican food, I rather go to Lake Street.

The service was so good! Louie was awesome and made me feel at home! All staff super friendly and professional. I went with their recommendations on tacos and salsa choices and everything I had was excellent! I will definitely be back!

Tacos were good. I love that it was once a house. There is outdoor seating on a busy street so it's great for people watching. I enjoyed the variety of salsas. I would go again.
