A very very classic boozer - can even get served beer in a can. Charming as it gets. We had Cullen Skink and Veggie Haggis and were all over the place. And so cheap!

My partner and I stopped here for a bite to eat on a motoring tour. Fabulous Haggis Tatties and Neeps for starter followed by what has to be the best steak pie I have ever eaten anywhere, accompanied by buttery mash and fresh veg done to perfection! When I got the bill I nearly fell off my chair because it was such good value. If you are anywhere near Stirling I would very strongly reccommend making a vist. It looks a bit basic when you first walk in, but the locals are a very friendly bunch and you literally won't find better food anywhere else nearby.

If you're looking for traditional Scottish food then look no further. This is a nice cozy pub serving both drinks including local ales and lagers and of course local whiskey as well as traditional Haggis. If you're not really sure if you'd like Haggis as a main because you might be scared of it, they have a Haggis taster as a starter. We got it as a shared starter and honestly if I got it alone I would be too full for another main. This \taster\ was the size of what I expected a main would be. They are very generous with the food especially considering the price. If you get the Haggis as a starter, consider the Scottish Meat Pie for main. With a local beer to drink. Best dinner on our trip
