Great service as usual. My first choice when it comea to fish and chips takeaway on a Friday afternoon. Never had any issues with the place. Massive delicious portions served. This place has a long great history in Northampton, no wonder they won the best place for fish and chips in town. I'm glad I'm able to try their meal even today. 5 I strongly recommend Nick's

For me, this is precisely how a fish and chip shop should be! The only thing missing from Nick’s Plaice is an ocean view. Ironically it’s in Northampton which is about as far from the coast as you can get in the UK! The lunch menu provides excellent value but no corners are cut. To add to it all, Nick himself is a true gent and clearly works very hard to keep his business as great as it is....
Great service, perfectly battered fish and classic chip shop chips. Homemade tartar and curry sauce. Cheeky slice of lemon is a nice touch.
Great service and lovely food. Love the jokes from the boss always got a smile on his face very friendly staff. Definitely recommend nicks plaice.
Best Fish & Chips in Northampton!!! Friday Rock special is great! Must try. The chips are always cooked to perfection, golden and lovely and fluffy inside! Service with a BIG smile too!!!
