It’s my first time experiencing North African food and the food here was good!! The server explained the menu and taught us how to eat. We had a very special time here! The server warned us the food was very spicy for several times but we didn’t feel any spicy anyway. The food is very nice, the price is reasonable. A recommended restaurant in Nice.

I experienced the African style food for the first time at this place, very delicious and super nice staff.
We wandered into this place when staying nearby. We were drawn to it by the thought our 3 year old daughter might actually eat something other than chips...as finding decent kids meals has proved difficult in Nice. We were warmly welcomed, the manager clearly a fan of children. The food was quick and although basic, really tasty. Delicious lamb, that surpassed our expectations. And best of all, our fussy daughter enjoyed it too, wolfing down the couscous, chicken and lamb. A brilliant success!
Excellent tagine of vegetables, merguez (spicy sausage) and poached egg. The egg could have cooked another 30 seconds or so for my taste, but that is a minor quibble. Wife had chicken with potatoes and vegetables cooked with prunes, raisins, olives. Can’t remember name of the dish. Also really good. Served with bread. Service was friendly and helpful. Portions were generous. Came with bread, standard baguette slices. No snootiness when we ordered tap water and no alcohol. We would gladly return to try the lamb and couscous.
Very friendly with excellent food. Will probably go again during our stay.
