Ruhl Plage is a busy section of beach on the French Riviera. It is across from the Casino in Nice. The beach is made up of little round stones, if you are not used to them, wear your water shoes/sandals to protect your feet. The Mediterranean sea is a warm temperature here and floating is fun!
Loved the experience I had here. I chose the place because it was less crowded than the other restaurants and cafes by the beach and ended up have a good meal, some nice rosé and a coffee to finish off. The service was great, they even gave me a little mousse to finish my meal. Definitely recommend it for food and drinks by the water. Sun loungers come at a price :)
We spent a lot of time here, one of the best sea front area and eateries to relax and soak up the sun and sea. Very well organised, safe, secure, clean. A good varied menu of dishes and spacious enough not to feel cramped. We loved it, as many others do.

Probably the worst place to be in Nice! To start off: we tried to make a reservation beforehand to have a bed in the first row but we were told we don’t need to prebook and they will guarantee us the first row. We were the first ones to arrive but did not get a bed in the first row. The staff is extremely rude and not helpful at all and they don‘t seem to be interested in generating any revenue. We wanted to place an order and the staff was ignoring us, so we tried to order at the counter where we were told aggressively that the waiter will take the order at the sunbed. After 2 hours we had our drinks. After waiting for two hours to order lunch we were fed up and left. Not only was the staff extremely slow and unmotivated, they were super rude and screamed at us and did not respect us at all. We will avoid this place and choose one of the other beach clubs that are the same price but good quality. Finally, the clientele in this beach club is rather rude and loud, wich was not the case in other beach clubs we visited, so it seems like normal people avoid this place for a good reason. You can find more rest in another place in Nice. Thanks for nothing folks!
