A must visit when in Nice.. Walk about to get a sense of the Provence. There are flowers, fruit and vegetables, fish, meats, and cheeses. I think the fruits are overpriced, perhaps pandering to the tourists, but I am a tourist... Go there for lunch and pick up some delicious traditional Niçoise Socca, fresh out of a wooden oven. Take it, some fruit, some cheese, and head to the beach...
Beautiful area to walk and shop in Nice. There are lots of amazing shops and cafes on the narrow streets in the area. You can have a taste of some of the local specialties or grab a bite of socca in one of the most well known places that make it. There is a pretty nice crowd.
Visited 2/20/18. A must-do when in Nice! This daily farmers market is an excellent source of fresh flowers, fruit, vegetables, bread, and pastries at good prices. It makes for a great source of affordable food instead of eating out at restaurants all the time.
