Very authentic Vietnamese food. You should spend money for the menu of vietnamese food here. It worth every pennies. The plate dishes is not really good.

We are family of four from Vietnam, craving for true home authentic taste while in Nice. We came to Lao Viet by chance and it exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent, some dishes even tasted better than in Vietnam with a price you can’t beat. It was no doubt the best Vietnamese food in town. We even got a chance to learn about the owners. Mr. Thang runs the front with his wife is the chef running the kitchen. They were super hospitable and gave great food advice. We came here every day until we left. There were plenty Vietnamese customers around us as well. So if you wanna taste what real Vietnamese food, come here! Sorry for bad photos, we ate everything so can only take photo of the last dish ;)

What a great place. Greeted by a very friendly owner into a quaint interior, with all locals - that tells you something. We had five excellent dishes and a great bottle of wine, all for 50 Euros. Some of the best vietnamese food we have ever had. Highest recommendation!

Authentic Vietnamese food, affordable prices. Very small place, I recommend the coconut-chicken soup. We didn't really enjoy the Vietnamese dumplings, although many recommend these. The noodle soup with beef was also quite good.

Food is acceptable the legumes saueets had a smell of smoke, the location is old maybe some fresh paint is a good idea and also clean the mirrors that are on all walls, is't not expensive just need to be cleaned. Price is low for Nice
