Lovely next, great products and lovely staff. They also got a Costa upstairs, which is a bonus :)
Usually a big fan of Next, went to collect a parcel, no fault of their store, though the email was extremely poor description with no information to where I should go to collect it, only give me at date by and a collection number. When entering the store, just like the email, very poor description with no direction given to where I should I go, I decided to go to men's wear and then had to wait for a colleague who's serving on home wear to come and then tell me it's in kids wear. I then go to kids wear and wondering around looking for some direction where this self service portal is, and then I find it hidden away a small tablet device. Key feedback, instructions and directions are the basics that should be right
Collected part of an order on Monday 13th Jan rest of order should have been available from Wednesday 15th January, both from Longton Stoke on Trent. Ordering from Festival Park was a pleasure, very friendly helpful girl. Unfortunately my Longton experience very different. Man who gave me my order on the 13th, very miserable obviously didn’t want to be there. The part of the order which should have been available 15th Jan got lost in the system. Lady on phone arranged for a stock item to be left for collection today19th Jan from Men’s dept. No staff serving in men’s dept! One poor girl serving both homeware and men’s and trying to order furniture for another customer, called for help twice, none came! After waiting 10 minutes went downstairs to find someone myself. Young lad came up read my text message and my receipt, after explaining what they said, as he didn’t understand!! He fetched the item then tried to charge me again and for a bag! I know it’s not there fault there is not enough staff but I feel that the service was really not good enough. Service poor more help needed, too much expectedly of young inexperienced staff !
Usually good. Disappointing observation today. Young male assistant asked a group of 3-4 of his colleagues for advice with an enquiry. He was waved away with a brief remark while they continued chatting and giggling. Young man was clearly the professional today.
