One of our favourite restaurants to visit. The food is fantastic and the staff go above and beyond to make each visit extra special. We love to bring our dog with us and she's often treated even better than us, which is every dog owners dream! We recommend The Wildfowler Inn wholeheartedly and it's well worth the drive if you want something different to the city eateries. Can't wait to come back after lockdown

Faultless local cuisine and hospitality. My Australian partner noted the Strangford Lough Mussels were the best she ever ate hands down! Great selection of international wines also. Highly recommended stopping here for lunch if exploring the Ards peninsula.

Table of 8 here recently. 5 adults and three kids. Service was very slow, arrived at 630pm, main courses only arrived at 8pm. Taking order was about a half hour initially and a round of drinks we ordered when the main courses were placed only arrived when most of us were nearly finished our mains, and after having chased them with the team. People coming to the door to dine were also waiting quite a while to be greeted. The food was only OK generally, my own main was good, nicely cooked steak, but the caesar salad starter, while having lots of chicken and bacon, tasted a bit bland. The dressing needed a few more anchovies to salt it up a bit! Other meals had a lot of deep fried elements that were a bit oily with a very thick batter, scampi in particular which wasn't great. Vegetables served were lovely, really fresh and crunchy, loved them!

Tasty food, good portion size and the staff were lovely. We sat in the beer garden but have eaten inside before and can recommend both settings.
