Excellent job.Arrived on time and did a great job
I wanted my tarmac driveway replaced and designed. I contacted a few companies before opting on RS Contracts as I felt they offered trustworthiness and honest advice. Raymond called when arranged surveyed the site and offered a few suggestions before I decided on the lay out. I found Raymond not only friendly but demonstrated his experience in this business. The price given was very competitive compared to another I had received. I decided to go with RS Contracts. The best decision I made!! Raymond and the team arrived on time, they cleared, prepared and completed the design along with the good quality SMA tarmac, edging brick work, building several steps and replacing heavy cast manhole covers within the three days we had agreed on. I am so delighted with the finished job, absolutely professional in every way. Raymond, Ricky, Johnny and the team worked really hard in the extreme heat we have had recently. Each day they arrived punctually, were friendly and ensure any inconvenience was kept to a minimum. Each night the area was cleared. They also ensured warning signs were displayed. I have no hesitation in recommending RS Contracts. Thank you Raymond and the hard working team. Very happy with the new driveway!

Had my driveway tarmaced by these clowns some time ago but only reviewing now. Here's a list of everything i was unhappy with. 1. Never fully excavated the the large area of grass next to my driveway which was all to be tarmaced over. This has resulted in subsidence due to there not being enough hardcore used for the sub base. I called the owner who said he would call out and take a look but he never bothered. 2. Whilst excavating the soil with their mini digger, they banged the side of my house on 3 occassions. It was the owner Raymond who was operating it. Each time he hit the house all his workers would let out a big cheer. Obviously not the first time they've experienced this. 3. They damaged all the concrete edging that runs along the front and down the side of my driveway. It's all badly chipped due to a lack of care on their part. 4. The tarmacing is uneven in places and after raining it collects in pools. 5. The edge of my driveway has fencing. The tarmac doesnt neatly finish against the fence and there is large gaps all the way along. All in all it was a very rushed job with very poor attention to detail. They were in and out, collected payment and couldnt get away quick enough. As a result I cannot recommend this company.
