First time I have used Value Oils and it will be the last. Very bad management of the order. I have received no communication on developments of the order and have had to chase and chase without any feedback. Today, after 19 days since placing the order, and hearing nothing about the order, I called again. This time, the day of the delivery, I am told there is a delay. Shortly after my call I received an email that my delivery date might be a further 7 days away. The excuse, CoVid and the cold weather. Sure, although other reviews that are not negative over the last few days seemed to have avoided CoVid?? But why was I not told that when I first called to check on my order over a week ago, or during any of the other follow up calls I made - I have made 4 calls. Interestingly reading reviews this lack of communication and delivery dates missed has been a long standing problem. I do not recommend and will never use them again. Back to my original supplier, they have never missed a promised delivery date, cold weather and CoVid included.

Highly recommended. Cheaper than my local group order offered. Delivered early in the window given. Filled tank with a bit less than I ordered & got an instant refund for the overpayment. Brilliant. Thank you!
We ordered oil and because of bad weather we had to put off taking delivery. Every time I had to ring up the office staff were very understanding and kind, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.
I cannot possibly recommend anybody use this outfit to order their heating oil. I paid for a delivery with a maximum lead time of two weeks. When it hadn’t shown up by the final day of that two week period, they had not been in contact and possibly don’t have technology to track fulfilment of orders. When I tried to contact them, by this time low enough on oil that I had had to turn off my heating and hot water to avoid running empty and ruining the system, there was nobody to help. They do not man their business out with Mon-Fri. I eventually got a reply from them three days later, by which time it was only 3 degrees INSIDE my home, saying delivery would be along in a further three days. At no point would they offer an apology for their failure to deliver on their end of the contract and were absolutely unaccountable. My repeated requests to speak to somebody in management were ignored. Fortunately, I have now received this automated request to leave a review of my experience..! Henceforth, I will go direct to the supplier who at least will not slope their shoulder and claim to be unaccountable. Avoid.
Not delivered by date agreed. Constant chasing and lack of communication back. Failed to deliver full quantity and had to wait a further 8 days with more chasing to get the rest. Not worth the hassle to get cheaper prices from them.
