My wife and I have always been very happy with this school and continue to be so. Since our first child started in 2009, the teachers and support staff have done their utmost to make sure our children have been safe and happy and they have always made good progress. The school also has an excellent outdoor provision which people might not be aware with a large enclosed school field, activity adventure trail, woodland area and school allotments. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend joining The District Family.

On returning to Newton-le-Willows after a few years in Scotland we placed our Y2 and Y5 children in District CE Primary School, where our eldest had previously attended nursery. I can honestly say that the standard of education they are receiving at this school is exceptional. The teachers are both passionate and caring in equal measure and make the children feel special every day, providing opportunities to excel and grow. So happy with this school and have no doubt this will continue. Great work.
Never had a problem with this school, my daughter is very happy attending here and enjoys all aspects of the curriculum. The teachers have always gone above and beyond to make sure that she meets her targets, something that she has always managed to uphold thanks to the endurance and dedication of all the staff. My youngest daughter will be attending district in the future also.
My children have attended District from nursery to yr 6 I have known the teachers for 12yrs and I can’t fault the school at all any issues are dealt with promptly, teachers are approachable and very supportive xx
I would highly recommend this school. Both my children have received an excellent standard of education and learning experiences whilst at this school. The school provides a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment for learning and has a collection of teachers and a leadership team who are passionate about the learning of all pupils ensuring that they have the opportunities to excel and reach their full potential. Pupils are also supported by the teachers, leaders and the pastoral team to ensure their overall welfare and wellbeing. The school also provides many opportunities for extra-curricular activites and clubs to further enhance pupils development and confidence. All members of staff are friendly and welcoming and always make themselves available to discuss any issues or concerns. Both of my children have excelled in this school both in terms of their education and also in their personal development and social and emotional wellbeing. I would not hestiate to recommend this school to others.
