Fantastic set up, just turn up (pay to park) and have a go! We've just booked a birthday party for the end of August - 8.50 per child for an hour on the water with wetsuits included, and a power boat ride for the birthday boy \u200d️ Normal hire is 5 for 30 minutes, 8 for an hour (summer 2018) Unless your kids have good strong arm/stomach muscles 30 minutes would be enough! But we were able to extend 30 minutes to 1 hour for the extra 3. Wetsuits are available at a charge we took our own. Only really needed if you plan on falling in the sit on top kayaks are very stable, you'll still get a soggy bottom though!

Quite a nice place, (n.b. cash only) let down by the man I imagine is the owner, whose approach left it feeling not family friendly. Good canoes and paddle boards, the younger staff lovely and helpful. The older guy in charge was simply unpleasant. I had 2 interactions with him, one looking for my daughter who we couldn't find (The changing rooms which had been closed with her in there, and my wife was worried), both interactions were curt, rude and dismissive, entirely uninterested. The second, my dad wandered over to say we were ready, he turned, said 'where are your bodies, you're not ready', and turned away ending the conversation. My daughters were 10 metres away. The setting was pleasant, the younger staff very helpful, let down badly by the guy in charge. (Later edit). My wife, who was very worried also left a review, which was immediately dismissed by the owner. When a 15 year old is missing it's a serious safeguarding concern, wherever they turn out to be.

Hired SUPs here, really beautiful setting and calm water perfect for beginners. Compared to other places, I found the staff the most friendly! And reasonably priced too. We will be back

Had a great hour on the water with my family on kayaks and paddle boards, but experience marred by the extremely rude man in charge. Was not interested at all in helping us, even turning away to dismiss us mid conversation when we asked for help for my daughter who had been locked in their building. Young staff were however very helpful and friendly. (Edit following reply from owner). When my 15 year old daughter is missing, and the building I thought she was in is locked (from the outside at least), and unattended, I expect people to be even slightly helpful, not dismissive and rude. What person wouldn't be? It's good that she could get out. It's incredibly poor that you are utterly uninterested in your customers, and as your reply shows, very committed to that disinterest.
