My girlfriend and I booked a 2 hour ride at Babeny Farm stables yesterday and loved every minute of it! The staff were all super helpful and nice and our guide Lee (Leigh?) was extremely passionate about horses and the local area. The horses are very well taken care of and easy to handle yet agile enough to canter with when the terrain allowed us to do so. Also the views were absolutely amazing! We will be back soon! Thanks
This was my first time ridding went with a friend. Very friendly Stables and very accommodating as we where running late me and my friend highly recommended this place if you a thinking about a hack especially with the stunning Dartmoor scenery, definitely considering going again SOON and the pub ride sounds like a very good idea
Very nice ride across Dartmoor. Great way to see the national park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend here and revisit here.
Staying nearby on holiday, my teenage daughter and I enjoyed the one hour group ride yesterday. We're both regular riders, but the place also seems a nice one for near-beginners to go to. It felt like there was a good emphasis on safety. Most of the ride was right out on the moor. During the short stretch on a lane, we did meet both a car and a rattly farm vehicle (apparently both unusual round here), but the horses remained completely calm and our guides gave appropriate advice. They have a nice mix of horses and ponies to suit different riders. Mine was a pleasure to ride - quite responsive to ride but kind and sensible.
