We camped here during Storm Frances (we didnt know it was forcast and no managment notified us) we had to pack up at 4am as everything was being blown to pieces. For our own safety we had to leave.. it was pretty scary. We were on the grass pitches at the back which was very wet... a mud bath really. We were pitch no. 21. It was a good pitch, only for the mud, stoney ground ( hard to hammer pegs down in places) We thought it was sheltered but nothing can shelter you from a storm in a tent. Apart from that Kilbronny park is stunning. We walked through the woods into Rostrevor. It was a great walk the kis lovely the water falls etc. We definitely be back but we will keep a better eye on the weather next time

This is a great park for either camping or your caravan. The staff on reception were very helpful and amenities cleaned to a great standard. There are lovely walks and the two available parks for children are fab! Will definitely come back again!

Beautiful setting surrounded by stunning scenery. Great for bikes. Toilets and Shower area spotless, but the site itself is a little disappointing, grass not cut, no room for your car on a lot of pitches, also a lot of pitches not suitable for an awning. Lots of dogs running about not on leads and dog poo in the LONG grass. These Dog owners need fined or ask to leave, as signs up to say “All dogs to be kept on leads” ! These Dog owners need to be more responsible and park wardens more vigilant to this problem.

Great campsite, clean facilities and lots to do in the immediate area. We were in a tent in a fully services pitch. The children had a great time exploring and the evenings were quiet, with everyone respecting the rules. We were pitch 22, which was a good size, and flat.
