Great place! Coffee, doughnuts, small plates, tasting menus, coffee and great chat! Oh and coffee is great!

Quite disappointed. We arrived on our way to the giants causeway and we were quite dissapointed, first impressions the cafe is cute and quirky and the menu although limited due to covid I suspect sounded lovely. We were greeted by a pleasant man that got us sat down pretty quickly it was all downhill from here, the staff seemed to walk around like headless chickens aimlessly walking around creating a busy atmosphere when in fact it should have been quite manageable especially with 4 members of front of house staff, it took about 15 mins to have our order taken. The girl that took our order didn't really have much customer service experience and was quite bland (just like the food). I ordered the katsu chicken burger with no bun and my partner had the jackfruit tacos (the only reason for the second star) we waited approx. 40 mins for food. I would understand if the place was rammed however it wasn't, so no excuses. Let's start with the katsu burger, extremely overcooked chicken obviously forgotten and left in the fryer too long - tasteless, the katsu sauce was pretty much just coleslaw with a bit of curry powder again very tasteless. It's always a bit worrying when the chips are the best part of your meal. The jackfruit tacos were full of flavour and delicious, brilliant recipe and kudos to the chef, the only critisim here is that there is no warning on the menu about the spice level, for my partners pallet this was way too much and she had no warning before ordering. All in all Finegan & Son its a 2/5. You really have something here but it needs a lot of work, front of house need a bit more training and the kitchen shouldn't be sending out tasteless overcooked food. Pros - clean - friendly - good atmosphere

Lovely place to eat in. Cozy and welcoming, I had the burger with brie and bacon with a flat white. The burger was excellent but is pricey for the size. The patty has excellent taste and was made to perfection, the bacon is awesome and the relish is amazing. Better than ketchup. The flat white was good, some interesting blend with tones of fruit. If you like your coffee on the strong side, this is it. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious coffee, expertly made. They provide espresso, pour-over, v60, teas, etc. I didn't realise they served food, but we were delighted with what we got. The food seemed fresh and made to order. Nice, simple interior. Friendly staff.

These guys know everything about coffee. Very chilled atmosphere. The staff are always willing to help and offer coffee recommendations if you don't know what yo choose. All of the food is amazing but i would suggest the small plates in partucular - they are absolutely delicious and during these Covid times are available to take away. All local produce used.
