Love the Purple People Bridge!!! Great place to walk across the Mighty Ohio, check out the Cincinnati skyline, and just have a good time talking to friend(s). Go there, take a stroll, leave a lock, check out the river, find a geocache (or 2), go out to dinner . . .whatever you do . . . Enjoy your stroll (or bike ride) across the Purple People Bridge :-)

This bridge allows you to visit two states at once. Great place for photos....make sure you bring a lock to add to the collection on the bridge.

This is a great foot traffic only bridge which gives you lovely views up and down the Ohio River and of both Newport and Cincinnati. Since the bridge is probably owned and sometimes hosts private events the bridge can be closed but there is a smaller sidewalk parallel to it that is almost always open.
A bridge for only pedestrians? Yes! I wish more cities had this. It was nice to cross at our own pace and not be crowded to a little pathway. It was great to be able to stop and take pictures.
