I really enjoyed my time here. I had carvery and the service and food was very good. (The roasted potatoes were amazing!) The desert - Knickerbocker Glory - was also very pretty and a great end to the evening.

We were there for a family meal to celebrate our sons 21st, during Covid. You need to book a table and it seems that a number of tables have been removed to allow distancing The menu was on a disposable sheet of paper, containing a good range of food mainly pub classics. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. Every where was clean and prices reasonable. Especially when you consider they are offering 25% discount Monday to Wednesday under the Eat out scheme. Highly recommend this place.

Been here twice and both times the staff are the most helpful, hard working and friendly people. Nothing is too much bother and their service shows in the quality of the food and friendly familiar faces that run this pub. Enjoyed my Nan’s 80th birthday recently and food was fantastic as always and thank you for all your staff for making a very happy day even more special x

Lovely place in all ways. Gorgeous atmosphere and friendly staff. Went on 16/12/20 at around 7pm. Met by lovely staff member who welcomed us and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Pie was delicious and well sized for price. Sweet potato fries were flawless and meal was 10/10 on whole. Lovely place for Christmas
