I was very nervous about leaving our yorkie at kennels as she is a spoilt princess. there was nothing to worry about, she came home after 2 weeks very happy and smelling wonderful. Hunters lodge is 20 miles away from where we live but the travel was worth it. Not the cheapest Kennels around but you get what you pay for and we wouldn't use anywhere else. 100% Recommend.

My dogs have been staying at Hunters Lodge for 10 years and my cats for 2 years. It was a great addition when the cattery was up and running. The care and attention from the staff is of the best quality, as are the kennels. My rescue dog is not the easiest to manage, and not every kennel would take him on. So I cannot thank Richard enough for his help with this situation. Any special requirements and medicine giving has never been a worry and my dogs get so excited as soon as we pull onto the driveway, always a reassuring sign they love their stay here. Yvonne always greets you with a smile and a chat and keeps a check on things. I could never consider taking my fur kids anywhere else. Huge thank you from Lesley, Coco, Jet, Dexter and Darcy

Richard, his family and team looked after my pup at very short notice after being admitted to hospital and needing emergency surgery. They put me at ease that she would be taken good care of for as long as required, and take care of her they did whilst keeping me updated. Will not hesitate to take her back to see them and stay as and when required. From what I could see when picking her up the location has good security and facilities for the animals the grounds are kept in A1 condition. I would highly recommend this kennels and can't thank Richard and his team enough.

We can’t recommend Richard and his team highly enough. We booked our 6 month old kitten (Pedigree Ragdoll) in to stay for just over 2 weeks. When we returned he was bright and healthy; he had eaten all of his food quite happily. The lady that had been looking after him said that she was going to miss their morning cuddles. We have never left any of our pets with a cattery/kennels, so we were very anxious about leaving ‘Blue’, but we really needn’t have worried. Richard booked us in efficiently and made us feel at ease. Blue will definitely be visiting again, even if it’s for a couple of nights. Thanks once again to you all
