Ticketed and fined whilst working on an emergency gas escape in Newport because it was a disabled space outside town hall, there were no safe places to park and about 4 empty disabled spaces. Intelligent warden told me to appeal it which I did, that's an hour wasted I'll never get back! Also ticketed me while I was on crutches trying to attend doctors surgery, bought an hour ticket but was 5 minutes late because of broken ankle.

Terrible - fobbed off when making a legitimate complaint. Reception staff are very polite and helpful but trying to get anywhere with a complaint is difficult. I'd expect someone to apply a modicum of commonsense so that a simple complaint is resolved before it has to be escalated.
My wife had a problem with her bus pass and rang the council help line ,the girl couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating,many thanks
I have just phoned the Council Tax office for a copy of my Council Tax, as I seem to have mislaid the original one they sent me. Customer services are alway polite and friendly and very helpful, which is why I gave them 5 stars ️️️️️. I don’t understand all the negative views on here! even when I used to see them in person at the Council in Sandown I never had had a problem with anyone there.
I have repeatedly tried to obtain a copy of my annual Council Tax bill to know exactly where my payments are up to. I can view my balance but cannot obtain the actual bill (annual) on line. 3/6 & 4/6 I tried to obtain a copy but somehow my password (which is automatically saved) doesn't let me view my Full Council Tax Bill. So much for paperless billing. I then (after 9minutes) spoke with someone in Revenues who told me my reference number for council tax did not exist. Belatedly she informed me that she was looking on the wrong system. According to the iw.com service I exist but for CTax purposes the IT system thinks I don't. IT and service are poor to say the least.
