Service is always really friendly and their food is of the highest quality... it's the best chippy in Skipton by far ... forget the famous alternative and go to Newmarket instead

Recently moved to Skipton and was eager to try out a chippy. Went to Bizzie lizzie first and wasn't impressed. Was starting to worry about how I would cope without a decent chippy until I discovered this place. This is much more like it. A proper chippy with decent portions, fresh fish, crispy batter and good chips. Bit pricier than what I am used to though. Nice to see Haggis on the menu. Only real criticism are the opening hours. Had to knock a star off. Ridiculously short. No wonder Bizzie lizzie keeps open with what they are serving. They're so often the only place open. 4-7 is a joke.
