Facilities are great and staff are friendly enough. Plenty of treadmills and exercise bikes for those concerned with cardio. For those looking into muscle-building, there are free weights available, upstairs there are two barbells wit power racks and Olympic weights and downstairs there are more racks, benches and plenty of dumbbells. It does get pretty busy so free weights will only be at certain times. Best to go early morning or later night an hour before closing to get access to everything. There’s also a ladies only gym for the ladies that want to get their workout in without people starting at them. Haven’t looked into the studio where they keep the plyo stuff yet.

- Car parking has always been problematic. It's usually always full making it hard to attend. - Must bring your own padlock and key for the lockers. - Poor social distancing and overcrowded in this current climate making it high risk. - Payments kept being taken throughout second and third lockdown despite freezing for the first when they were closed. - Price hike by 50% starting in January. - Difficult to cancel, can't get through to anyone as they're busy. An email came back saying that they charge a whole extra month when cancelling, so at the new higher rate, and with the 25 charge other reviewers are mentioning...

Do not sign up with this company. They will put you in debt even after confirming your membership is cancelled, they still take money or attempt to and then bill you late payment charges. Disgusting and illegal business practice and I'm not the first person this has happened to. Will be contacting the ombudsman. Try telling you you have to give 30 days notice, which is a lie. The offer was 9.99 month, cancel anytime and Ive even got the emails confirming my cancellation and that no notice is required, no further charges will be incurred. Doesnt want me to go to the ombudsman.... why's that I wonder? Because its standard practice for this company.

It’s a really good gym. They have a lot of machines (tread mills, weights, etc). Although I’d caution those who may be high risk in terms of Covid-19, there is very little social distancing in the gym.

A nice spacious gym with everything you need! I would say the Newcastle branch looks a bit nicer than the Fenton one, but no difference in the equipment available
