We took our transporter T6 to Vanpunkt because we wanted to have a pop up roof put on. This was a big commitment both financially and emotionally because it is not easy handing over your precious van knowing that the roof is going to be cut off and any mistakes cannot be rectified. We went for the SCA 194 and these guys were brilliant right from the outset. James and Dave are both very pleasant gentlemen who are extremely passionate and methodical about their work. The end product is fantastic and it is very obvious that they carried out the work with great care and professionalism. I was so pleased with their work installing the roof that I asked them to install a new heater and also rectify some poor wiring that another company had carried out. Once again (despite being extremely busy) they took the time to carry out the additional work and did a great job. The end product is that we have a great conversion which feels safe and done to a very high standard. If you want your conversion done well and to the very best standards, then I would look no further than Vanpunkt - I cannot thank them enough for their efforts and I will be heading back to them for a couple more small jobs in the near future. After travelling up and down the country searching for the right conversion company for me, I stumbled across Vanpunkt through an internet search. Their workshop was actually only 30 minutes from my home so I made an appointment there and then. As soon as I met James & Dave, I knew instantly that I wanted to put my trust in them and hand over a considerable amount of money from my pension lump sum. I have not been disappointed! They are meticulous in everything they do during the build and are brilliant at keeping you updated through regular emails and phone calls during each step of the build. After quite a bit of searching around to find a company to convert our SWB Mercedes Sprinter into a bespoke day van we eventually found VanPunkt. The conversion involved a lot of 'outside the box' thinking and both James and Dave spent a considerable amount of time up front discussing with us what could (and, importantly, couldn't) be achieved. Fast forward a few months and we now have just what we wanted; a fully kitted out day van with more storage than we imagined possible and an excellent bespoke hi-fi system, all finished to an extremely high standard. Vanpunkt recently helped me out on my road to a full camper conversion, with window installation, insulation, lining and floor fitting. They did an amazing job, the compliments are flying in already. They're attention to detail is spot on and are great at keeping you in the loop with how they are getting on. I will definitely be using them again for future work on the van.
