I have personally always enjoyed the starters the most. This restaurant is on par with any 1 Michelin star restaurant in terms of food quality and service, but at a cheaper price point. One of my favourite restaurants in Newcastle.

Pets are allowed in which is great. The Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding was tasty. Service was good, staff were warm. There was a brief wait as the meal was prepped. The music was nice.
The food here was decent, service was decent, everything about it was decent, not exceptional but above average. However, the menu was overpriced and pretentious, just trying too hard. 14 for a decent burger at lunchtime is just a bit steep. The chips were passable but that's it. The burger was well cooked, tasty, juicy, but it could all have been just a little better.
Second time we have had Sunday lunch & it is excellent. Worthy of 5 stars. Food seasoned just right & cooked perfectly. Staff lovely also. Will be back .
Fabulous service and the best fish I've had in ages. Highly recommend the Hazelnut coated Halibut with creamed leeks and girolles.
