Had a new carpet fitted which stopped our lounge door from opening. Called here today to see if they could trim the bottom of the door for me. Was spoke to as if I’d asked for it done for nothing. Claimed to be too busy & said it would be 2 weeks before they could do it anyway. Yes, a 2 week wait for a 2 minute job. In other words, they simply didn’t want to do it. I appreciate it may not be the most profitable job, but the wood I’m going to need in the next few weeks to build a 22x16ft snooker room in my garden may have been half decent. Anyway, thank you to the very helpful Watsons Timber a couple of mile down the road, absolutely no problem to them, in & out in under 5 minutes. 5 charge, 20 given as a little thank you.

Everyone at Quay Timber has been really helpful. I have nearly completed a 2 year house renovation and have got everything from Quay Timber - floorboards, pine shelving, skirting boards and dressed pine for other odd joinery jobs. Can't rate them highly enough.
