So glad we found Rowan for our mum, we looked and had mum in other places where she wasn’t happy but Rowan have been absolutely fantastic, from the friendliness of the staff to the great care they give, they have special activity people that make sure there is something going on for mum everyday and now have there own cinema room, as a family we have been to lots of different things that Rowan have put on from summer fayres to Xmas dinners. Our mum has been there 5 years now and unfortunately her dementia has got worse but Rowan have gone above and beyond to make sure that mum has been looked after on every level as her health has worsened, it’s been a great peace of mind for us that mum is in the best hands and everyone at Rowan have been a god send.

I recently visited Rowan court to see my granddad who since my nans passing has deteriorated, refused to get out of the house or bed and was hardly eating. My heart burst with happiness I have to say I almost cried with joy when on visiting my granddad was with other residents taking part in a gentleman's club and telling all his new 'mates' about his life. he was enjoying a beer with snacks and playing cards with the other men I was able to go home and for the first time in months not worry about him. I cannot thank this home enough its is truly a special place where the people in it appear safe, happy and extremely loved. AMAZING!!!!!!!

my nan was admitted in to rowan court last year. Sadly she passed away in January this year. I just want to share my experience of her passing. This was not something I was ready for she was the most important person in my life. So understandably the day she passed was going to be extremely difficult. At 10.30am on the 9th of January my Nan passed away and in this moment I can honesty say I felt my heart break. How the staff at the home then banded around myself and my family allowed us feel some sort of comfort that day. The home manager Jacinta took charge of the situation, every part of it from making sure that my nan was comfortable, to calling my family. At the same time she was comforting me. I do not think I could have got through that day without her support and the staffs care and kindness. I will be forever grateful to rowan court for the kindness the gave to my nan. For me loosing my nan was a day I couldn’t think of and I was given a day that when I look back in it now I can think about the care and love myself and my family where given. Forever grateful to Jacinta and the team x

My gran was here for a while. Staff left drinks in front of her without assistance & she ended up in hospital with dehydration more than once She also fell & broke her hip but staff failed to notice this for 3 days, they ignored her obvious pain!
