Lovely place to explore especially when the snowdrops are out. Beautiful house and grounds with a picturesque river running through. Lovely church also within the grounds. These a nice cafe and gift shop. The highlight in season is the beautiful snowdrops. Thousands are shattered all around. Theirs a pleasant walk that takes your down across the river into the forest area in to the snowdrops. Lovely few hours in a really scenic part of berkshire.

Wow, never seen as many Snowdrops in one place before. Walks are well laid out and signed. River walk and swamp walk were excellent.
The snowdrops are stunning but only open from the end of January to the beginning of March. Entry fee is 8 for adults, 6 concession, there is a lovely tea room for lunch and you can stay as long as you like.
Nice day out with family. Nothing fancy, just a walk around the grounds admiring the rivers, woods and snowdrops. The children loved being outside and climbing the trees and playing near the streams. Afterwards, some hot drinks and food in the marquee. Very friendly staff who had children helping clear up. The children were possibly the most polite and efficient workers I've ever met. :)
