Really lovely place to meander around. Feels like you're in the forest or moorland but only a short way from A34! They even have ponies! Lovely cafe and loo block handy. Tip: very busy in the morning but much quieter by 1pm when we left.

Great place to go for a walk. There is heather moorland, woods, parkland, basically good variation. Paths for pushchairs, as well as more wild walks and paths throughout. Plenty of space for dogs to run wild too. Lots of parking and even shop for snacks and hot drinks
Wet and muddy, so the wheelchair route is not really fit for wheelchair users at this time of year. A lovely place to go though for dog walkers etc. There's a reasonable amount of parking and toilets there too. No parking charges either (yet)
First time at Snelsmore Common and will definitely be returning. Met up with our daughter and grandson who we havent seen in 6weeks. Lovely days walking. Lots of lovely views and benches to take a break and look at the beautiful landscape. Coffee shop on site can recommend the bacon bottles served by friendly staff.
It's a beautiful area, nice walks and, if your lucky, you can see the wild worses. A few mushrooms you can find there
