Catherine was so friendly, helpful & responded to our questions as quick as she could! As we have used a local competitor in the past, we have found the experience with Downer & Co much more pleasurable and we would certainly use them again!

Extremely professional, very helpful and responsive and a pleasure to deal with at all times. I can fully recommend this team without reserve. From start to finish they have been there to make sure that all goes smoothly and as a small landlord I have always been provided with all the help and advice needed.
We sold our house through another agent in Thatcham, but the house we bought was bought through Downer and Co. The service, professionalism and empathy from the staff at Downer and Co was of a much higher quality than the other agent. All of the negotiation and chasing legal updates was provided by Downer & Co in a very efficient and pleasant manner. They really were incredibly helpful at an incredibly stressful time. Our other agents were nowhere near as helpful and if it had not been for Downer and Co we would not have completed by Christmas. I would put them at the top of my list of Estate Agents.
We were dealt with by Catherine who was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly and professional and was always quick to respond to any questions of queries we had. She made the process really comfortable for us and made the whole move really easy.
Unprofessional during a house purchase. Rude on the phone, bullying behaviour, and completely unapologetic. Avoid if you can.
