A special thank you to Kenny the delivery man from Newbury Store who went out of his way to deliver my item as it had been sent to my old address. He rang me up and sorted it out. At the end of his shift he went out of his way to delivered my item to my new address. He is a credit to Argos for a great customer service. A real special thank you. Well done Kenny.

Went to purchase an item but got told to do it online, OK not a problem but before purchasing I wanted to confirm they have it in stock. I know they can easily chech/search on their tills but the Argos lady standing outside was very rude and refused to check it and said they can't when I know they can. Only a couple of hours ago Argos in my town checked using their tills and told me they don't have it in stock. She said you'll need to pay for it and if its not in stock then collect another day when it's back in stock. I travelled half hour from my town to get this item and she couldn't check if its in stock. I'll never come here again and order from Amazon instead, at least I know I'm getting it the day after. Poor service and staff have no shame in their behaviour. However luckily item was In stock.

ARGOS: We purchased online this morning 2 trays to the value of 25.98. We returned them to the Newbury store immediately as they were not as described. They refused a refund because their policy now is you have to take refunded goods to an ARGOS store within a Sainsburys whilst under Tier 4 restrictions. So we left the trays with ARGOS after they explained the nearest in-store refund point was a 30 mile round trip to Reading or Andover and wrote off the 25.98. The cost of the trip would have been more than the value of the trays! The lesson here is do not buy from ARGOS.

Shopping here for a few years now and the service was always great. I even had a problem with a product where the warranty wasn't respected by the manufacturer and Argos offered a refund. Keep up the good work!

Placed an order as it was available to collect the same day, after placing the order I was informed that I would have to wait 5 days til it was in store, I tried phoning for help with my order and all I got was automated messages, I used the online chat and they were able to provide no help. I will not use again.
