Small portions at big prices. Poor value for money. A fancy (small) box does not justify the cost!

Expensive & Disappointing Large Cod 6 and was the size of a small. The battered mushrooms were off and not edible. The chips are now in trendy boxes so you basically get less for your money. The Roe was tiny. we paid 18.35 for large fish, small chips, mushy peas, battered mushrooms, and two specials small chips and a roe and sausage chips and curry sauce. Massively OVERPRICED. Nowhere near as good as Compton chippy!

Just been in shop, great fish and chips but complete disregard for COVID regulations. Sign on the door said no more than 4 people allowed in shop, I waited outside until I was waved in, one person left and 4 others entered the shop, 5 out of the 8 people in the shop didn’t have masks and didn’t seem to be social distancing, I had to ask one person to move away from me, only to be told to chill out man. Had to wait ages for chips, hope I won’t regret the visit.

Used to come here once a week for Gluten free for my wife who is celiac. They were always friendly and helpful and the food was always great. Since being under new management it's all changed. Gluten free chips made my wife unwell so we don't go there for Gluten Free Tuesdays anymore. I went today to grab some chips after work and they were cold. I only live on the Tettenhall Rd and I drove so it wasn't the journey. Quite high prices for what you get. No flavour, batter seemed unseasoned. Really greasy. Won't be returning. Service rushed and I felt as though ordering just some chips was a burden on them. Such a shame.

I wasn't impressed with the chips this evening (8pm).The chips were like the days left overs. I had to rummage through the pack of chips to find decent ones to each. This isn't the usual standard I am used to at this shop, the quality is usually very good.
