I have been with Santander for many years and have only had minor glitches with them. Giving large amounts of cash without putting in an envelope for instance. Apart from that the staff always friendly and helpful .

I have never had a problem with this bank or any of the staff, everyone there has always been very helpful. If this was to change I would switch banks but currently I will not use any other bank. Couldn't ask for a better service!
I have a business account with this bank. Generally Santander is ok but the most of the staff at the Newark branch have no customer care skills. They prefer to sit comfortably on the chairs behind the counter rather than helping their customers. If you have a local business, you have no chance for any attention... They arrogantly expect you just to use the cash machine on the premises which always jams or is out of paper. So sad they can get away with it when a lot of little local businesses really understand what customer care means and they do not have the comfort of big cheques being paid in their accounts for doing nothing!
